BuildDirect appoints new Chief Financial Officer

BuildDirect, a leading omnichannel building material retailer, announces the appointment of Kerry Biggs as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective July 22, 2024. Marshall Rosichuk, the Interim CFO, will step down from his role on July 21, 2024, but will continue with the company as an advisor to ensure a seamless transition for the management team and the Board.

With over 25 years of experience in finance and business, Kerry Biggs has held numerous senior roles in both early-stage and established public companies across various industries, including manufacturing, transportation, and retail. His extensive background includes CFO positions with companies listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange. Kerry previously served as Vice President, Treasurer at lululemon athletica, where he oversaw capital markets, capital structure, treasury, insurance, and risk management activities for the NASDAQ-listed company.

He has also held senior finance roles at GCT Global Container Terminals Inc., Finning International Inc., and Enbridge Inc. Kerry holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario), a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria.

Mr. Kerry Biggs’ appointment is contingent upon receiving all necessary regulatory approvals, including approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
